Vinyl

Vinyl is a popular choice for siding because the material is inexpensive and easy to install, reducing overall labor costs. Choose from a variety of colors, textures, and natural-looking wood patterns. You can shape vinyl to fit different profiles, including classic clapboard, shiplap, or shingle. Need a retrofit option? Vinyl is lightweight, allowing you to install over an existing siding. Many homeowners choose vinyl because the material is easy to take care of and does not require painting.

Wood

Wood siding provides a warm and timeless look for your home’s exterior. Use a transparent stain or clear treatment to show the natural color and wood grain. A tinted stain will offer a more uniform appearance.  Wood siding is available in shingle and clapboard styles.

We offer six types of natural wood: pine, spruce, cypress, douglas fir, cedar, and redwood. Homeowners prefer cedar and redwood because of the material’s natural resistance to moisture and insects. Wood siding requires periodic sealing and staining or painting to prevent weather damage.

LP® SmartSide®

LP® SmartSide® siding is a low-maintenance alternative for homeowners who like the aesthetics of traditional wood. The material uses treated wood strands mixed with a resin binder for strength. LP SmartSide can be molded into a variety of styles including, lap, shakes, panel, and vertical siding. Choose between a smooth finish for a traditional look or a cedar grain texture to resemble wood. The engineered wood is available in prefinished colors or can be pre-primed for a paint finish.

Many homeowners prefer LP SmartSide because of the material's durability and protection from extreme weather conditions, such as strong winds, humidity, heat, and hail. LP Smartside siding provides homeowners an extensive warranty, including:

  • 5-year full labor and materials warranty

  • 15-year limited warranty on the finish

  • 50-year substrate limited warranty
